Right Start Academy believes that an appropriate start to education plays a critical role in providing children with the foundation they will need to be prepared for the high accountability of the educational system of the 21^st century. The "Right Start" will assist in eliminating the achievement gap, and equip children with the prerequisite skills they will need to perform at high levels on standardized tests that are administered in many school systems.

Right Start Academy is based on the premise that all children can learn what they are motivated to learn, thus the preschool is committed to igniting the interest that will lead to higher level learning in their students. Realizing that all students acquire knowledge differently, Right Start Academy is dedicated to differentiating instruction, thus, the use of best practices that are researched based will be used to address the learning styles of each individual learner.

The mission of Right Start Academy is to become the preschool of choice for parents throughout the Maryland area. This will be accomplished by providing a purposeful kindergarten preparatory curriculum, while incorporating a parallel curriculum of health and physical education. Combining the two learning structures will provide the students of RSA the tools needed to become intelligent, health conscience, future leaders of our nation.
